The importance of knowing Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior is critical: your relationship with Him, the knowing-Him kind of knowledge, experience, His presence in each one of us. Much more than a knowing about Him - is knowing Him personally, Him living in each one of our hearts by the Holy Ghost (applies to those who are saved in Jesus, and does not apply to those of the world).
Following coming to know Christ Jesus, correct and thorough biblical instruction is of great need for spiritual growth. "
And besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue (valiance, like a knight or a soldier), and to virtue knowledge." 2 Pet 1:5
When we were growing up as children in Church, we attended Sunday School (early Sun morning), followed by a Sunday morning church service, then a Sunday night service, then again a Wednesday night service, and if you were a teenager, you also attended a youth service on Friday night also. These together made for 3-4 church services per week. Along with daily Bible reading, many received their biblical education from church services. After a few years of this, many Christians were well studied in the Word. Bible schools are good and needful, and we teach at them, but Scripture tells us that it is the church's job, and the minister's calling (called by God, not man), to teach the Word (feed the sheep) so that they grow-up into Christ Jesus, the Head of the body (the church). Formal Bible schools are not a replacement for this. Church service should, among other things, train Christians in the Word, to be the Bible school for all Christians.
Many in the church today are not prepared to handle intake of the meat of the Word as they ought to be able, because they have not been partaking in the milk of the Word consistently or at all, and their growth is stunted, and their 'failure-to-thrive' (a medical term for babies that are not growing, but very slowly dying) will eventually lead to their disease or death. Natural children that grow-up without proper nutrition have life-long shortness of stature, bone weakness, and other diseases that will shorten their life - and the sad thing is, it is totally preventable with proper nutrition. If we take natural nutrition for children so seriously, and our physical life is temporary (we all die once), why do we not put all the more attention to our eternally-lasting spiritual growth?
Today, many don't read their Bible daily, and they might attend church service once a week. It is deadly inadequate spiritual nutrition. Our days are spent on so much that is not the Lord, so little life-worship is given to Jesus - idolatry it is, self-idolatry (
lovers of self more than lovers of God). This has had a very great impact on our current generation of Christians. Many have been falling-away from the faith. We see this also in the mission field. We must abide in Christ, continuing in the faith of Jesus Christ, all the way to the end. "Receiving the end of your faith, the salvation of your souls...Therefore gird-up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ" (1 Pet 1:9,13). Jesus said this concerning the end-days, "Nevertheless, when I come, will I find faith on the earth?"
So, these pages are dedicated to encouraging Bible reading, as well as providing materials and links for biblically solid Christian education for Christians, ministers, and children. "
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching". Heb 10:24-25. These are perilous times, that is: dangerous, difficult, and faith-weaking times; not perilous to our physical lives (the flesh profits nothing..), but rather to our spiritual lives. These are not normal times, these are the end-days, right near the end kind of days that the Bible has long warned about.
But what to do about this? Buckle-in to Jesus, deepen in your relationship with Him now; hide His Word in your heart; read your Bible; spend time with the Lord in prayer, praying for you, your family, and those you know; stay in church; put away your idols (like rubbish) and focus your heart to worship Jesus in your everyday life, all the time- make Jesus your all-in-all; trust Him to lead your life and to engineer your circumstances of life (He already does); hold-firm to sound teaching and preaching; be wary of false teachers and false prophets that are so plentiful today (probably a 100:1 ratio). How will you know (discern) them without a good relationship with Jesus and time spent with Him in prayer and in His Word?
One of the difficulties, or tribulations that we Christians face is false teachers/false teaching; it's a huge disinformation campaign out there to make holding firm to truth in Jesus all the more difficult, and they mangle the truth of the gospel as to make it something else that is powerless. We Christians must deal with this.  We are facing it all the time in our present age, and part of difficulties of our time is dealing with the peril of false teacher/false teaching. This makes spending time with the Lord all the more critically important, for it is only by His strength, His grace to help us in times of need that will keep us from falling in these perilous times.  And, "
But you beloved, building yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion, and power, both now and forever, Amen." Jude 20-25, And, "Pray, that you enter not into temptation". (Matt 6:13;Matt 26:41).

     For ministers, "
Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth." 2 Tim 2:14. That study is God's Word, not philosophies, psychologies, or man's opinions. So much taught today in many Bible schools is thick and heavy with man's philosophies, and the Bible warns about this in Colossians 2, but it is not really surprising in these very last days: "Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducting spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron"... "if you put the brethren in remembrance of these things, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto you have attained. But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself rather unto godliness." 1 Tim 4:1-2,6-7. And, "Take heed unto yourself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them; for in doing this you shall both save yourself, and them that hear you."

     For adults and children, "
As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby" 1 Pet 2:2

     For all, "
And, He gave some prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the edifying of the body of Christ; til we all come in unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow-up into Him in all things, which is the Head, even Christ: from Whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love." Eph 4:11-16

     For children, "
Thorns and snares are in the path of the froward; he that does keep his soul shall be far from them. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Prov 22:5-6, "And you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath; but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." Eph 6:4. "Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto Me: for such is the kingdom of heaven." Matt 19:14. It is fathers' and mothers' responsibility to train up their children in the Lord. Childrens' learning and education is parents' responsiblity, not the governments'. Furthermore, governments will not train children up in the Lord. Training in the Word and in godliness is of eternal value, of far greater importance than academic learning. Today's public education is largely not only secular (not godly), but it is increasingly teaching outright wickedness to children.
If Proverbs 22:6 is true, and it certainly is, why would we send our children into that environment for 6-7 hours, 5 days per week, for most of the year? God is not asking you to send your children to a teaching environment of wickedness for most of their lives, He is telling you to raise that child
in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. In times and generations past, the public schools were not perilous to children as they are today. Some people are starting to see the truth of this, and the effects the schools have had on some of the older children that are coming out of these schools. We have seen pastor's children who attend all the church services their parents do, all their life, turn away from the faith after being indoctrinated for years against God in morals, evolution, hopeless humanism (a belief system), sexual perversions, proud anger, and racial divisions.
What do we expect when it has really been the school that has spent the vast majority of the child's quality learning time of their lives, raising that child? The Bible verse is true, "
Train a child up in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it" applies even if their teachers are teaching them doctrines of demons and to hate God and Christianity. What makes us think our child will turn out differently than they have been taught for years?
We do strongly advocate for homeschooling these days, using a solid Christian curriculum (non-online sort would be best). I believe that even the time for "Christian" schools has passed - most people could not afford them anyway. The other children also have an influence on your children, and in today's increasingly perverse world, it has become very important to consider all the influences upon your children (multimedia, internet, other children, the schools, the teachers, everything). "
Do not be deceived, bad company corrupts good morals". Also, homeschooling now will help transition you and your child to be able to do so comfortably, before the time comes when you have to homeschool because sending your child to these centers of perversion and wickedness, called schools, will be unconscionable
I kind of think we are already there. - these are not normal times, nor are normal times returning, and the quicker we realize the truth and the full ramifications of that, the better, sooner rather than late. While the world is increasingly moving on-line, onto the internet, we would suggest moving further and further away from it, returning to paper books, pens and pencils, off of the internet. You really don't want the "future", the on-line world in your home, nor before your children.

Bible education is important for all members of a family, adults and children.
